Vice President
Anthony (Tony) C. Taylor is a Vice President and Associate Principal with the firm. Mr. Taylor holds Master's Degrees in Systems Management and Computer Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He has over 25 years of experience in managing large, federal research and development programs and served as technical and legislative advisor to Members of Congress in the fields of aerospace, transportation, computers, communications, and advanced materials.

Mr. Taylor served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, first at the Satellite Control Facility in Sunnyvale, California and later at Space Systems Division Headquarters in Los Angeles. In Sunnyvale, he supervised a team of 25 engineers responsible for a 24-hour command and control of a major defense satellite. In Los Angeles, he assumed program management responsibility for the development and operation of a large computer software system used for space applications. Subsequently, he managed the design, development, test, and launch of the space-borne segment of a large, classified space system. Prior to military service, Mr. Taylor was employed as a systems programmer by Unisys Corp's predecessor.
In 1975, Mr. Taylor left active military service to join the staff of the Committee on Science, Space and Technology in the U.S. House of Representatives. In 1980, he became the Staff Director of the Subcommittee on Transportation, Aviation and Materials, responsible for advising Members of Congress on emerging technologies, worldwide economic and industrial trends, U.S. Government programs and budget priorities, and policy options within the Subcommittee's jurisdiction. He supervised a staff of six professionals in planning for Subcommittee hearings and developing legislative initiatives, including the periodic authorization of three agencies (NASA, DOT, and DOE).
Mr. Taylor is a retired Colonel from the Air Force Reserve. Last assigned to the Pentagon, he was responsible for supervising ten action officers engaged in defining and acquiring systems for national space transportation; command, control, and communications; surveillance; and strategic systems. Previously (1975-90) he was assigned to the Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence, responsible for analyzing foreign technology including space systems, strategic aircraft, ballistic missiles and electronics.
