Patrice Courtney Strong is a journalist and public relations/marketing consultant.  She began her career as a newspaper editor and reporter in Connecticut and New York, and served as executive editor of Citizen Publications in Milford, Conn., a five-paper group. She has served as public relations counsel to numerous corporations and government entities, including The Chase Manhattan Bank, The New York State Assembly, and Harte-Hanks, Inc., handling assignments that have included annual reports, media relations, speech writing and crisis communications, as well as managing and mentoring staff.

Mrs. Courtney Strong has written for a wide range of publications, including The New York Times, New York Newsday, TALKERS, and Corporate Legal Times.

For the past five years, she has served as coordinator, Mid-Hudson Energy Smart Communities, an outreach and education program of the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA). From 2000 through 2005, she was a consultant to the U.S. Department of Energy, providing lead adminstrative support to its Rebuild America Business Partners program. A resident of Woodstock, NY, Courtney Strong graduated cum laude from Northeastern University in Boston.
