Communications Associate
Charlene LaDay-Hill is a 6-year veteran of the U.S. Army with over 10 years of journalism/public relations experience. During her military career as a Public Affairs Specialist, she was an editor and photojournalist for two award-winning military publications. She also served as a public relations officer for the U.S. Olympic Shooting team. After receiving an honorable discharge in 1992, she expanded her business experience by working for AFLAC in Columbus, GA, where she was responsible for salesforce communications, database management, and policy support.

administrative support for major projects such as: the “Novartis” merger and Pfizer’s “Viagra” product launch. She also aided the RF team with disease awareness campaigns and new business presentations.
In 1999, she left Ruder*Finn to go back to school. In 2002, as a full-time graduate student of the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz, she became a business developer with ETI Sales Support where she generated new business for clients such as American Express, Verint Systems, and OneSource.
Now a resident of Kingston, NY, Charlene serves BL&A as a communications associate tasked with providing public relations, marketing, database management and administrative support. She has provided support to Rebuild America’s Allied Partners, part of the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Weatherization and Intergovernmental Program, and Mid-Hudson Energy $mart Communities, a New York State Energy Research Development Authority community outreach program. She has two degrees from SUNY New Paltz: an MBA in Management and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism in which she graduated cum laude.
